This class is extremely useful and you will learn a lot. I was a student who completed their first year of taking this class and I learned a lot of things that there will be on the SAT and also tips and ways to approach certain questions. If you are someone who wants to do well on the SAT, I highly recommend this class. The teacher is also really nice and smart and will help you throughout the course on whatever you need; Even on information about college and more.

I did the SAT prep and Silver Common app plan with Maya Prep. As for SAT, my score increased by almost 200 points. With decisions coming out, I got into one of my top pick schools so far(UMich), and Maya Prep played a huge role in supporting me through the process. I am so glad I chose to take Maya Prep last minute, after being recommended to by a friend. It was the best decision I made in my college application building process. I had tried a few other SAT prep courses before, but they never really seemed to help. My scores didn’t improve, and most of all, I didn’t learn much other than from doing practice tests.Maya Prep, though, definitely met up to the ratings and stories I heard. The coursework, classes, and teachers are all phenomenal. The teachers explained everything clearly and in great detail, and I learned so many tips and tricks. They are even good at keeping students motivated throughout the journey. I also personally benefitted a lot from the fact that the class sizes are small, as it allowed for better interactions and attention from the teachers. It definitely made the learning experience more engaging and effective.Ms. Lora was particularly helpful in telling which areas I needed help with and advised me on how exactly I could do to improve. I could tell they really cared for each and one of us individually.I also recieved help for a couple of my essays with the Silver pack (Common app essay and 2 UMich supplemental essays). Through our meetings, I went from having nothing but a jumble of ideas to an essay that I was satisfied within a month. I was provided helpful criticism and constant check-ins to refine my essays. The plan also included help to write up the Common app activities section.I am grateful for what they did for me, and if not for them, I wouldn’t have gotten as far! I can't thank them enough. They are so great at what they do and I 100% recommend Maya Prep!

We had a great experience. The team met with us parents and my son, and Lora took over our team! She was knowledgeable, very responsive and reachable. She was able to connect with our son (and he can be hard to connect with), earned his trust and helped him with the application process. She knew what he wanted, the way he wanted to do things. We/parents had the peace of mind that we were doing the applications correctly, and we/parents were able to delegate tasks (and continue in a supportive role, not a "order/tasks role"), which I am certain helped to have less conflict/stress with the process. We will use them again in 4 years for sure!
