I recently had the opportunity to attend the Maya Prep SAT Prep Center, and I am thrilled to share my experience. We worked with Maya Prep when my older son was a junior. We were so happy with the whole process when it was time for my younger son to get ready for SAT and college applications we didn’t think twice about connecting with Maya Prep again. Maya Prep isn’t just a test prep class, they offer a full college counseling service with individual attention to each student. They followed my son’s progress, offered extra help after each class. It is a big relief to have them on our side during this stressful process. My son completed the classes but we’re still working together for applications. My son's journey at Maya Prep started from his eighth grade. From the detailed and easy-to-understand SAT prep classes, Prabodh and Lora have been great mentors to the students as well as advisors to the parents.Prabodh de-mystified the college admissions process right from explaining how colleges evaluate student applications to how to better the chances of getting into our college(s) of choice. These sessions were great eye-openers into this new world of college admissions for my spouse and me.When it came to the Common App essay and individual college essays, Lora was very helpful and patient as she worked 1-1 with my son. She encouraged him to articulate the salient aspects of his personality / achievements succinctly and tailored to the prompts whilst making him comfortable through the whole process. Through various feedback sessions (despite the fall and winter holidays) and iterations, Lora was always a phone call or a Whatsapp message away. And what a transformation it was - from the first raw draft to the final output!I highly recommend parents to enroll their college aspirant kids with Maya Prep and take advantage of the great wealth of experience the Maya Prep team have to offer to prepare the students for the exams as well to make their college applications stand out from the crowd.Our son got in to one of his top college choices. The Maya Prep class has helped me improve my test scores and has taught me so much. The teachers are very nice and understanding. Maya Prep was a very helpful class! I started off with basic knowledge of math and english, however once I started the class I almost instantly felt more comfortable with my skills. Over the course I could see improvement on my test scores and my logical thinking. It showed me the way College Board asks questions and how to conquer each problem. I truly believe this class was helpful and worth each lesson.

My experience at Maya Prep was great! The teachers are extremely nice and definitely know how to teach. They taught all the topics in a way that I understand which really helped me, I have my SAT in around 2 months and am extremely confident in my abilities after this class. I didn’t do all the homework, but doing the homework whenever I did helped my learning a lot.
